We are looking for a Financial Controller who can take ownership of our finance function end-to-end. This role is critical in ensuring financial discipline, compliance, and strategic support as we scale. You\'ll be both hands-on and strategic, balancing daily operations with long-term planning.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and cash flow management tailored to a startup environment.
\r\n
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, financial models, and forecasts to support growth and fundraising.
\r\n
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory requirements relevant to neobanking.
\r\n
• Investor and Board Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports for leadership and investors, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
\r\n
• Process and Controls: Establish scalable financial processes, internal controls, and policies suitable for a growing company.
\r\n
• Taxation and Audit: Manage statutory audits, tax filings, and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
\r\n
• Strategic Finance: Partner with leadership on fundraising, capital allocation, and financial strategy.
\r\n
• Vendor and Partner Management: Handle payments, contracts, and financial negotiations with vendors, partners, and service providers.
\r\n

Requirements:

• Qualifications Education: Chartered Accountant (CA).
\r\n
• Experience: 6-8 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in fintech, startups, fund management, or investment banking.
\r\n
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
\r\n
• Experience with financial modelling, MIS, and investor reporting.
\r\n
• Exposure to fund management or investment banking practices, with the ability to translate insights into startup finance strategy.
\r\n
• Ability to set up processes in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
\r\n
• Proficiency in tools like Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
\r\n
