• Role Summary

We are looking for a mid-level Finance professional who will support end-to-end accounting operations with a strong focus on TDS, GST compliance, project accounting, and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced working knowledge of MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Compliance

• Handle end-to-end TDS compliance including deduction, payment, returns, and reconciliations.
• Manage GST compliance: filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliations, and coordination with consultants.
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely closure of monthly and quarterly accounts.
• Support audits (statutory, internal, donor/project audits) and respond to queries.

Project Accounting

• Maintain project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and budget monitoring.
• Ensure accurate allocation of expenses across multiple projects.
• Prepare project financial reports as per donor/client requirements.
• Track utilization, advances, and fund balances for projects.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Assist in cash flow planning and forecasting.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.

Systems & Process

• Maintain accounting records in ERP/Tally/other accounting systems.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely financial documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance (B.Com, BBA – Finance).

Experience

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
• Prior experience in project-based organizations, consulting firms, NGOs, or sustainability-focused organizations is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of TDS and GST laws.
• Hands-on experience in project accounting.
• Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas; Power Query is a plus).
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally/ERP).
