Job Description

Mission:

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Managerto drive the Finance department's digital transformation with two objectives: 1) enhance operational efficiency, by mapping out existing processes and systematically reviewing options to eliminate manual tasks through AI/automation solutions, leveraging capabilities like Claude CoWork, Gemini, Replit and other AI apps 2) expand real time insights and analytical capabilities through restructuring of finance data, expansion of reporting capabilities, and implementation of a new or upgraded financial systems.

Outcomes:

Outcome 1: Comprehensive Process Audit and Transformation Roadmap

  • Completed a thorough audit of current Finance department processes to identify all manual, inefficient, and high-risk steps, as well as areas where we are not optimizing functionalities available in existing tools
  • Developed a clear 12-month transformation roadmap, prioritizing automation opportunities that leverage AI for maximum impact.

Outcome 2: AI/Automation Implementation (Phase 1)

  • Successfully designed and implemented at least two key AI-powered automation solutions (e.g., using Gemini or Claude CoWork) in areas like payroll, financial reconciliation or reporting; reviewed and activated relevant under-utilized functionalities in current systems
  • Achieved a measurable reduction in the targeted processes' cycle time/ time spent by team members and a quantifiable improvement in data accuracy.

Outcome 3: Recommendations regarding financial systems set up

  • Analyzed current financial systems set up and reviewed future requirements to support group expansion
  • Explored options to upgrade/ expand current financial system with add-ons vs. switching to a more sophisticated financial suite; provided recommendations.

Outcome 4: Strategic Reporting Capabilities

  • Created standardized, automated reporting templates that provide the CFO with real-time, actionable insights for high-level decision-making, leveraging AI
  • Established cross-functional partnerships with the Data, Tech and business teams to ensure key business and financial data is meaningful, well-defined, properly recorded to be leveraged in analysis
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or similar field; 5-10 years total experience;
  • Proven track record in analyzing Finance processes and delivering Finance transformation in a mid-size company environment.
  • Direct experience with Financial / ERP systems and a background in integrating and optimizing financial data flows across multiple platforms.
  • Deep expertise in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude CoWork, or similar platforms) and automation technologies to solve complex problems in a Finance context; early AI adopter, knowledgeable of most recent solutions and use cases
  • Expert level in Excel and Powerpoint
